It’s hard to believe it’s already been two months since our DTS began. August 4 feels both like yesterday and a lifetime ago.
When we started, I honestly didn’t know what to expect as a first-time DTS staff. I knew it would mean serving and walking with the students, but I didn’t realize how much God would also be forming something in me through it all.
Our first week started with the topic of Jesus as the Bridegroom, King, and Judge. This message wasn’t new to me since we’ve been declaring and studying it in the prayer room for years. But this time, it felt so different. It wasn’t just me encountering this revelation anymore, our students were hearing it too. Seeing their hearts awaken to the beauty of Jesus as the Bridegroom stirred something fresh in me. It made the message come alive again, and I began to understand even more deeply why I’ve carried this passion for others to know Him in this way: that Jesus desires a close, loving relationship with His people, that He reigns as a righteous King who leads in perfect wisdom and love, and that He will return as a just Judge who will make all things right.
The following weeks have been full of both teaching and transformation. We learned about spiritual warfare and intercession, where the students began to understand the power and authority we have in prayer. Then came Destiny by Design, where we saw hearts healed as each person realized how intentionally God created them and they have divine purpose. During Holy Spirit and Power Evangelism, we stepped out together to share the Gospel, and I watched our students boldly pray for strangers, overcome fear, and experience what it means to rely on the Holy Spirit.
We also had teachings on Lordship, Intimacy, and the Fear of the Lord, which brought many of us to a place of deep surrender. And during worship and prayer week, we were reminded that worship isn’t just a song but a life fully yielded to God. Each week felt like God was building something layer by layer, both in them and in me.
Our two-week midterm outreach was another defining part of this season. We traveled, served, and ministered in different places, churches, and schools in the province of Cebu, in Argao and Sibonga. It wasn’t always easy; there were long days, relaxing days, last-minute changes, and moments of stretching. But I saw so much growth in our team. The students learned to step out in faith, lead small groups, and share their testimonies. We prayed for people and saw hearts soften, and even when things didn’t go as planned, God still moved in quiet, beautiful ways. For me personally, it was a time of learning to lead from a place of humility, to trust God even when I felt weak, and to keep serving with joy.
Being DTS staff has truly been a refining fire. There were moments I felt unseen, tired, or unsure if I was doing enough, but in those times, God reminded me that ministry begins with being before doing; sitting with Jesus first, letting Him fill me again, and allowing everything else to flow from that place.
Through this whole journey, I’ve been reminded again and again that we’re not just doing missions; we’re preparing the way for the return of Jesus. As our Bridegroom, King, and Judge, He is coming soon, and everything we do is part of that preparation. Whether it’s teaching, serving, interceding, or going to the nations, it all points to that one great reality: Jesus is coming back, and He’s worthy of our whole lives.
Here are some ways you can stand with me and our team in prayer as we continue this journey:
For grace and strength in the last few weeks of lecture phase
For deeper unity and love within our team
For provision for our 10 weeks of major outreach (I personally need Php60,000 or $1000 for the major outreach. To learn more about this, click the button "to the Nation and beyond" below)

Thank you for reading, praying, and walking with me in this season. Every yes, every prayer, every bit of support, it all matters more than I can say.
Until He returns,
Cling Roba
